"My name is Private Robert John. I serve in the Australian Army as part of the Infantry. I have trained with Lemlei Le Ville for a period of 2 years. In that time she has increased my fitness level and my strength, equipping me with the tools and knowledge I needed. Everything we have done has been safe, monitored and effective; but most importantly all training was specifically designed with my goals top of mind. Lemlei also assisted in the rehabilitation of my shin splints.

The application process to gain entry to the Australia Army Infantry was very challenging. But thanks to Lemlei's constant support, motivation and training I was able to gain entry easily. My daily routine is very physically demanding. A day consists of many different tasks which can involve extensive marches with 25kg packs; excessive carrying; working with heavy machinery; hikes through dense bushland; obstacle courses and long hours of other demanding activities.

"Approximately 2 years ago I joined Victoria Police. Employment commenced with five months of training that required a high standard of physical fitness. Numerous training obstacles included bet were not limited to - regular running, swimming, drill marches, first aid training, defence tactical training and assessed obstacle course training. Often these tasks were conducted whilst wearing full operational dress, equipment and ballistic vests. Victoria Police requires graduation recruits to re-attend the Police Academy after the first two years of service in order to requalify to the same physical standard as per the initial graduation grade. Failure to meet these standards eventuates in termination of employment.

Upon induction into the Policy Academy, I approached you in regards to raising my overall level of health and fitness. Your constant guidance and attention to healthy eating plans, regular cardiovascular and strength-building programs has provided me with an ongoing peak level of physical fitness that has enable me to regularly fulfil my role as an operations uniformed police member in the purposeful and professional manner. In addition, I also enjoy and healthy recreational lifestyle that enables me to participate in physically demanding sports such as snow boarding, scuba diving and trekking. In November last 2005 I successfully completed a trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
